And, it’s also the time to evaluate the journey we’ve traveled in the last year. It’s time to revisit the strategies that we’ve adopted and the results that they delivered. Regarding our superior application DataArchiva Backup, 2022 has been a year of incredible growth and advancements in its capabilities. As a newbie to the AppExchange market and Salesforce ecosystem, the past year has been crucial in fixing its feet and gaining recognition.
And we’d like to walk you back through the path we’ve taken in this period before the year says goodbye forever.

Some Staggering Achievements Those were Too Early to Receive
When entered the competitive market in 2020 as DataArchiva Backup, our AppExchange application was focused on a mission — to secure the Salesforce data of customers with a modern & more flexible backup option. Three years later, in 2022, renamed as DataArchiva Backup, our superior product gained enormous recognition and acquired a number of customers by solving their complex data protection challenges in Salesforce. We eliminated the need for manual intervention in the end-to-end data backup process by putting automation into play. That made the customers’ life hundreds of times easier.
Apart from building a growing customer group, in 2022, we’ve also got off the ground with a Partner Program, in which we welcome the Salesforce partners to join hands with us and spread the word about our product suite to their customers. The program not only provides a chance for us to invade different markets and elevate the business but also gives the opportunity for the partners to increase their revenue stream and strengthen the customer experience. So, it’s a win-win.
Extended Support for Different Third Party Storage Platforms
Initially, DataArchiva Backup Application only supported the AWS cloud for the external backup process. However, in 2022, we introduced some breakthrough innovations by extending our support for other cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, Heroku, and also On-premises platforms. The expansion has been a tremendous success that empowered us to cater to a wide variety of Salesforce users who use different external storage systems. Adding to this, our backup app previously supported only S3 storage to keep Salesforce backup data, but now with DataArchiva backup, customers can keep their Salesforce backup data in SharePoint storage as well as in Servers.
The Announcement of an Advanced Capability — Metadata Backup
This added another feather to our cap. In 2022, we introduced a newfangled feature which is nothing other than the capability to backup and recover the metadata along with the main Salesforce data. The feature provides a fully-fledged form to the data backup process as the users can take a backup of their whole data in a hassle-free way. In short, backup is made easier, streamlined, complete, and comprehensive.
Moving Toward a Shining Future
DataArchiva Backup app will go above and beyond in 2023. We are working on several more advancements that will ensure the security of the Salesforce data like never before. And, we will introduce a lot more capabilities that can provide a whole new experience with the Salesforce data backup process that will blow our customers.
